There is a $15 dollar registration fee. Once registered to consign, you can price your items, print your tags for your items, and prep them to be sold. You will then want to sign up for a drop off appointment which you can find once in your consignor account. If you are picking up your unsold items- you will also want to sign up for a pick up appointment after the sale is over.

You will also have the option to sign up for a volunteer shift. All consignors will be allowed to shop the 7pm entry time for the presale. However, volunteer shifts allow you to shop the presale sooner (the 5pm or 6 pm entry depending on how many shifts you work).

Read below for very detailed lists of what we do and do not accept as well as how to prep your items and how to enter your prices for your items.

How To Prep Your Items

Clothing Items

All tops and bottoms are to be hung on wire hangers. You want the hanger facing to the left so that when you hold it out and look at it, the hanger is in the shape of a question mark (the hook opening is to the left). Pants are to be safety pinned to hangers. You can bundle multiple things by using safety pins to attach all to one hanger. If it is an outfit, the shirt goes on the hanger and then you safety pin the bottoms to the back of it. The tag for everything is safety pinned on the left side of the chest- over where the person’s heart would be <3

Shoes

You can use string, a zip tie, or a safety pin to bind the shoes together. The tag will need to be attached to the thing that is holding the shoes together. Some people choose to put their shoes in a baggie and slip the price tag in the baggie - that is totally fine, too!

Toys

You can tape the tag directly to the item or you can put the item in a baggie and put the price tag in the baggie. ALL TOYS WITH MULTIPLE PIECES NEED TO BE TAPED OR SARAN WRAPPED SO THAT THE PIECES STAY TOGETHER.

Baby Gear

Strollers, pack-n-plays, cribs, carriers, swings- ALL of that stuff- you can tape or safety pin your tag to those items. Whichever makes more sense.

    Donating Unsold Items

Scout’s Consignment gives the option for consignors to donate their unsold items to a local organization. Our fall/winter 2024 donation partner are Mother to Mother, Clarksville- Montgomery County Schools, and Metro Nashville Public Schools.

    Half Off Day

When pricing your items, you will have the option to mark your items as “discount items”. The last day of the sale will be 1/2 off select items. The items you select as discount items will then drop to 50% of what you originally priced them.

Thanks for your interest in consigning with Scout’s Consignment! We hope that you are able to make good money from your kids outgrown items as well as have fun!

Consignors must consign a minimum of 15 items with 250 items being the maximum. To ensure quality inventory, the minimum sale price is 3 dollars. The idea is not to try to sell every single thing in your house that your kids have outgrown. The idea is to sell your best stuff! Consignors profit 70% of their sold items. Consignors can choose to be paid by PayPal, Venmo, or by check after the sale is complete.

Lost Item Form
